guitars sound like they were playing Squire Strats through a 15-watt amp, and the drums sound like a guy tapping pencils on a text-book.
edit: yeah I saw my rating and noticed how low it was. Musically, this album's probably a 4 or 4.5 for me, but that production just pulls it down so far

bass isn't the problem, it's the headache-inducing guitars and drums. It's just so dry and flat, lacks any punch whatsoever.
I don't mind rough production, or under-production. but it's the expensive and terrible production quality that I hate.

I still gave it a "great" rating -- I don't think I'm putting too much stock in the production by doing that. It's not like I gave it a 2 or a 2.5 -- I've been listening to thrash since like 1998 I think I know what I like, what I don't like and what I think is a 3.5 lol
