I've always liked Reign In Blood a lot better honestly. South of Heaven is a second for me, followed by Seasons In the Abyss. Why do you like SoH the best, Manosg?

To me it's the most atmospheric album of their discography in the sense that Slayer traded speed for creating a sinister atmosphere. I also like Araya's vocal approach on this one and I think that it includes Lombardo's best performances.



RiB is also incredible but I like it a bit less and I love SNM. Both 4.5 for me.

This album flows very well. This is just as heavy as Reign in Blood, but has better drum work and a mix of good mid-paced songs. That said, Seasons does it better.



Jeff is to thank for the catchy evil riffs and melodies. Kerry on the other hand, is just here to play his sloppy solos.



The downer of this record is Tom's attempt at singing on certain tracks. An example would be Spill The Blood which riffs hard but the 'singing' is atrocious.
