I know how you feel. I've already jammed this probably 15-20 times.

Like I genuinely love this EP, but I feel like it just goes by so fast.

It flies by, you're right. I love it dearly, though.

Same. And I think Aaron is hitting such a good middle ground in his lyricism. Where Pale Horses had some great lines but also a ton of almost non-sensical/cryptic lines, the EP and Julia so far have some top tier lyricism with all of the references and weird allusions we're accustomed to, while also sometimes having that "words are flawed and sometimes arbitrary" feeling that Aaron has expressed a lot.

I get that feeling, too. Recently read all the lyrics to/with Pale Horses on lyrics genius and it was nice to hear peoples' best stabs at what he's talking about as well as citing interviews and stuff with Aaron that I never knew existed.

Yeah, I did some deepcut researching for Pale Horses. I feel like the untitled set is going to be like Ten Stories lyrically but in a different way. It'll be all of the punch of the philosophies behind Ten Stories, but put into a less abstract and more personal context.

"and sometimes when it's quiet my heart feels like Guernica" :')

That bit is probably my favorite on the EP right now.

I love that simple line in Bethlehem where he was like "they say he lost his mind, or too much found his mind"

Reminds me of Jerusalem by Alan Moore.

absolutely. I find myself thinking about his lyrics as much or more than my fav literature quotes. I feel like I'm going to be swallowed by the new LP lol

took me years to like these guys and I still need to listen to them much more than I already do. that being said, I'm always excited to put them on those few times that I do. they're special.

I am imagining a really heavy version of Winter Solstice in the full length where Aaron screams the chorus like crazy. Hoping it's something like that, though the EP version is beautiful

Winter Solstice is actually a brostep song in the style of Skrillex.
