AS is super weird and out there, even by DGD standards. The "bad" production gives it a weird otherworldly atmosphere.
IG is their "pop" album.
Mothership is one of their heaviest.
This one is pretty diverse. A lot more slower songs, a pop-punk track, and something almost cinematic with "Evaporate".
I think they all have a "We Own The Night/On The Run" type track (Mothership it's Chucky Vrs. The Giant Tortoise" and this one it's "Son of Robot") and a definite DGD feel, but I also think they're all pretty different.

i was actually of the mind that the last four albums have been pretty similar. Feels like DGD running on auto-pilot.
There was such distinguishability with everything on and in between DBM and DBM II that the last four albums have just felt like a blur.

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of this album. This album is undeniably my favorite DGD album to date. This is the album I always knew they could make with Tilian. Bloodsucker and Evaporate stand as two of the best songs they’ve ever written.
