This shit gets me. This exceeds all my expectations it’s a stunning album. Plus I love how they continue to evolve, make albums standout among their own discography and his voice never falters.

It’s kinda worn off me kinda hard in just 2-3 days. I see a lot like the title track here, but I thought it was one of the weakest.

I love it all. I feel it’s really diverse and one of my favs by them.

I prefer the latter half but I guess I’m the only one who does so lol. Pyramids of Salt is still pretty stellar and one of my favorite songs of the year. I get Brand New vibes from that one

I really like this but I miss the energy of The Greatest Generation.

Listened to this once all the way threw and as of right now I fail to see how it's better than No Closer To Heaven
I'll listen to it more though

Heavens Gate (Sad and Sober) is a fall out boy song

Hmm... having second thoughts about this. Some good songs here but man Suburbia and The Greatest Generation are just so much better.

As of right now, this is their best album. Imo they keep getting better with every release. Pyramids of Salt and It Must Be Lonely are currently my favorites.

I don't get how people like Suburbia more than their last 3 albums like... it feels so underdeveloped compared to those 3.
Edit: I should clarify that it's still a 4.2 at least

Raining in Kyoto really is one of the songs of the decade. Talk about front loaded
|

Album Rating: 3.5
Raining in Kyoto was one of the ones I dubbed the worst on here and the front half doesn’t even hold a candle to the last except for Pyramids of Salt. And the last 3 are the best by a long shot. Maybe I just prefer the ones with more subdued choruses

nah second half is insanely boring and repetitive for this band's standards

I want a full version of “When the Blue Finally Came”. I find the front half being a less-fleshed-out NCTH. At least that one had epic Lion King moments like the ending of “Cardinals”. I want a more somber introspective album like from “Flowers Where Your Face Should Be” onto the end. The pop-punk numbers do nothing for me.
