Here's mine, I guess. A straight ranking of my top songs would be different, but this bracket had multiple favorites in the same region.

I was going to heavily object about His Old Branches and Through Windows going down in the second round, but His Old Branches was up against Birdless Cage and that's indeed tough.
No excuse for Through Windows though.

Mirage is incredible tho

I'll have to create a list ranking their songs soon because as I said, bracket is not representative. Could have 2 of my top 5 go down in the first round (and did).

That's why they call it madness.

indeed
ultimately I think my 2 faves are Spill and Bask, although that's partially because of how accessible they are. I can listen to them anytime...longer tracks like through windows, dead men, etc are incredible but I do not listen to them as often

This is like a modern day follow up to TDAG

I do think there's a very real chance for these guys to step into the void left by Brand New

Not by the view numbers I'm looking at while listening to this right now.

It hasn't done too shabby considering Tuesday was the first day most people were able to actually hear this

To the best of your knowledge, this isn't available on CD, is it?

It was available to those who contributed to their kickstarter campaign as a pre-order, because mine is on its way - and I see options to pre-order vinyl - but no, I haven't seen anywhere to order CDs at this time (I checked bandcamp and simple stereo). You can always try Facebook messaging the band to see if there's a way. They're very responsive.

Just curious... has anyone received their pre-order? Dying a little bit to hold this thing in my hands haha

The first 4, Dialogues, Northern Orthodox, and Colored Out are all incredible. The rest are great too. What a strong/consistent album. "It's hard work having a soul" won't get out of my head and I'm okay with that. And the chorus in Dialogues is kinda perfect. So are those bells in the bridge.

Birdless Cage clicked with me super hard tonight and a couple of the other tracks (namely Born Blind and Colored Out) are stepping up to contend for great underdog status
Sundials and Mitama in particular are still yet to leave much of an impression on me though, they kinda feel like B-side material tbh

Mitama is probably my least favorite, but it's still a cool song. I'm really feeling Birdless Cage right now.
