I mean it's progressive for pop punk is what I mean

haha thas a super low bar

wouldnt really call jeff "pop punk" tho. more like punk rock + indie rock + power pop. so the result is kinda similar to pop punk but by way of styles that are fairly distinct from pop punk. and in the context / by the standards of indie rock--as opposed to the context/standards of pop punk--i wouldn't call him progressive.

New song is very well-written, maybe even better than anything on this album, but the production is somehow even worse than it is here. I really don't like the increasingly muddy, lo-fi style he's been going for.
