goin by aesthetic alone, looks like it could be more guitar-centric than electronic which could be promising

yeah, there are enough okay tracks on here that her making a dud with a strong concept behind it is no big deal, but two less than great albums in a row would be a bummer. would probs drop my rating if I hadn't not heard it in forever
also is she working with antonoff again? better not be.

"she is"
that feeling when your enthusiasm plummets to the bottom of your stomach and you just wanna get it through your colon as soon as feasible
s/t has some bangers and a great closer , but i can get behind scorning it for not being Strange Mercy 2

I dunno I thought s/t was mid as fuck and this one was just bad but yes strange mercy was peak st Vincent and her stuff before it had its charms too

s/t was probably one of the first 'serious' pop albums i got into, and I preferred it to Strange Mercy for a while. that's v much not the case now, but I rejammed Rattlesnake, Digital Witness and a few others the other day and would say they hold up p well (some tracks have defs aged less well).
this on the other hand has nothing i feel remotely like coming back to outside of Los Ageless, second half of Pills and maybe NY/the closer.
