Nocturnal has no highlights because the whole thing is the highlight with no weak tracks.

Saw them last night!

(local band in place of Decrepit Birth)
Wormwitch
Necrot
Suffocation
BDM

Tight live, great sound, sounds like like in studio.

But, oddly enough, Suffocation put on a better show. Tons of energy! I had no idea I'd like em so much. Was never a fan, but the current lineup is wonderful live.

lol why would that be odd, suffo destroys the rest of that lineup easily. were they really opening for tbdm? that's kinda messed up.

I assumed Suffocation would have turned to shit over the years, I've never so much as Googled them in well over a decade!

But they toured with a new guy Kevin Muller (I think?) who was pretty damned good. The show was sold out and the entire venue was packed and he had a lot of energy. You could tell they were just pumped to see such a big turnout and such a huge mosh pit. Excellent frontman. Sort of? Because I guess their original guy doesn't tour full-time anymore but he's still in the band. But Kevin should just get the job.
And Terrance is a super laid back dude. He spent most of the show out front smoking with fans.

And then BDM finally goes on 4.5 hours into the show and they were a little less energetic than Suffocation, so I watched 30 minutes and then went home.

Frank Mullen doesn't go on tour with them.

Nocturnal deserves to be fapped to but not nearly even close to as much as old Suffocation

Then why don't they ever play that song? ;)

It used to be my favorite too, but Deathmask is best on the album imo. t/t, Everything Went Black, and Horrible Night tied second
