This wasn't a classic for all of us on first listen (except if you're MediocreAtBest), we just accepted it as a great album that grew into a classic. That's called having restraint. I'm sorry guys I guess I'm weird but I just loved this album and As the Roots Undo like immediately. I've been listening to them both non stop and I don't see my rating changing anytime soon.
Oh and btw this was a 4.5 on first listen. This Message Edited On 02.20.08

If you can relate to it emotionally than you'll clearly enjoy it on a much grander level than everyone else who just likes it for the creativity, skill and brutality. Amirite?
I guess I just haven't had any emotional experiences with this album. Then again, this band is relatively new to me.

trust me, one night you'll come home after a shitty shitty day and you'll listen to this and see it in a whole new light.
When I'm having a crappy day there's nothing better to throw on than Korn. Angst empathy ftw.

I finally gave into all the hype about this album and picked it up a few days ago. I don't think it's a classic, but it's very solid.

Petitioning the Empy Sky (Remastered version), You Fail Me and No Heroes. Then get When Forever Comes Crashing. The rest of their material is hit and miss; I love it all but some people don't dig their earlier stuff/splits as much as their LP's.
Yeah, I've seen all of them. Guns is my fave.
