Turns out this is probably my least favorite FOH LP, but it still rips. I think FOH/Merzbow is the best with Rudiments of Mutilation close behind.

Also I consider Sister Fawn to be a part of FOH/Merzbow since they are part of the same project and the CDs are packaged together, makes for a great duality

I'm excited to hear their other LPs. I've only heard his and the debut, which didn't grab me quite like this did.

Album is disappointing. Debut was terrific and still greatest album they've done by a long shot

"how to be a popular grind//faux-pv band in the 2010s:
1. wallow in monotony and ~darkness~ (where darkness implies a quite forced disdain for the human race and otherwise ~expressive~ displays of antisocial psyche)
2. write an album
3. try to change the pace with the oh-so-typical last song dirge
4. remind everyone why you should ~experiment~ more and half-pace-blast less
5. get signed to either profound lore, southern lord or relapse
6. ???
7. profit"

lol as if i even have to ask who posted this

Dig this, but not as much as I was hoping. I miss the experimentation and ambient moments on Rudiments… Fave tracks are cosmic vein, crawling back to god, and last track.
