"I literally just threw up in my mouth a little"

How was my comment about 2006 at all barf-worthy?

what kind of stuff from 2006 does it remind you of man? a lot of awesome stuff came out that year, albums by Underoath, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, RHCP, and Killswitch Engage, some of which are my favourite releases of all time

Tbh this is a yfw to deja type quality jump, its just that the quality level they jumped from was absolutely unlistenable

Wow, Ronnie actually made a good album? That hasn't happened in like ten years. I'm actually shocked at how much I enjoyed this.

Coming Home, Broken, Loser, Straight to Hell, I Don't Mind and The Departure are all legitimately good songs and deliver on the promise of that "more mature" sound. The other songs sound like they are off a different album or something and don't even get me started on the two bonus tracks, those are pathetic.

In the liner notes, apparently instead of thankyou's there's "fuck you's". There's so much edge in this thing, they're handing out pairs of chainmail gloves with each physical copy

Ronnie masked his bullshit songwriting/lyric writing with an accessible sound, but it's still the same FiR that made Fashionably Late

think its because people are giving this 5s and that's the kind of thing Brand New get. Also Brand New is my favourite band of all time so I like throwing their name around lol

This is better than Brand New.

Then again, Brand New's only album above a 3 is Deja Entendu so...

The point I'm trying to make is that the huge leaps in quality that Brand New made from their debut to Deja Entendu isn't a crazy comparison to make.
