this album could have been really good if the production was up to scratch and hetfield didnt try and sing notes that he cant reach. the music has meaning to it and watching "sme kind of monster" gave me an idea of how much of a struggle it was to get this album up

Metallica's worst album by miles. St Anger was a good song i thought, after that it all went to peices. The review could have been better, so could of the CD so dont worry about it lol. You'd be generous to give this album anything above 2.5 i say. I think this is it for Metallica, i cant see them coming back and impressing.

I think you mean it's muck in your opinion. because everyone here probably had higher expectations of this long awaited metallica album. I mean what was it? 6years since re-load? Anyway I think it's the worst album I've heard by metallica, but I still think it's an enjoyable album to listen to. I mean this was what happened to Oasis. Be Here Now was a fairly good album, but wasn't nearly as good as definately maybe and morning glory so it got blammed because it wasn't an improvement.

Buzzment, your the man! Im not a Metallica fan at all period. If you like these guys, good on you, from my point of view these guys are over-rated and they suck bad, sure their 1st 2 albums were good, since then they have been dull, boring, mediocre and very very very poor.
