Kind of late to the party but I'm friends with a guy who knows the Ascariasis guitar player. Apparently, he started up the Afterimage and decided to focus on that band instead.

Also this album is dope, Erebus is top notch. Anyone else getting subtle Fallujah vibes here?

Can't they just confirm it's a dead project then

The radio silence is a bit annoying

After a second listen, I decided that the vocals don't bother me after all

Still, it drags on a bit, so I'm actually struggling with giving it a 4

I don't wear a fedora, it's called a trilby. Clearly you aren't enough of an intellectual to notice that.

the afterimage pisses me off so much, like fuck sakes treat your fans with some respect, i get taking forever to release material, but if the project is dead, let everyone know already.

i mean, it would be nice if bands would keep their fans updated instead of leaving things up in the air, but they dont have any obligation to and i dont see how theyre disrespecting anyone by not doing so. life goes on, there are thousands of other artists out there.

Yo, I think you got Ascariasis and Afterimage confused

Ascariasis are tech deathcore band that's gone dark, Afterimage are tech metalcore w/guy from Ascariasis and are still active

no they certainly dont, but how hard is it to make a post on facebook/twitter telling people whats up?

it's just kind of lazy and through that, annoying (to me at least)
