I was reading a really sad book on the train and then that part at about 7:00 in The Declaration came on in my headphones and then someone started chopping onions.

You can read and listen to music at the same time? Are you a wizard?

I might turn on drone music or something but that's just to drown out conversations on the train really.

I enjoy music with few or no vocals while reading. Musk Ox, Burzum, classical, etc

Contrary to that 2.9 average of Burzum's Hliðskjálf, I do find that album very enjoyable as background music.

I forget who said the vocalist sounds like he has a mouthful of socks but I laugh at that to this day

haha, the vocals are my least favorite part of Saor. They aren't great, and sound really forced.

That was one of my more astute observations.

Yeah honestly if this was instrumental I'd probably be able to get over the cheesiness but that with the vocals on top of it just kills it for me

Wth I thought it was normal to read while listening to music.

But yes, I am a wizard.

The only time ive found the vocals off-putting was when i was startin to get busy with my girl while this was playing on the stereo. Other than that theyve never bugged me lol
