greg is a nutcase. second track is tops

@Kris that shit was awesome. I have footage of Sunshine and 43% burnt on stage with Greg standing right next to me for half of it, and I have footage of him climbing on the monitors and stage diving onto the crowd that was on the stage. Was sooo awesome.

"Does anyone else think there is a little Heath Ledger / Dark Knight action going on here? I mean this is good, but come on..."
Same thing that happened with Bowie/Blackstar. Great shit, but not *quite* as good as people are making it out to be.
That said, thinking about saying fuck it and going to the CT date of this tour because the lineup is stacked as hell. I'd probably drive that far for O'brother alone, let alone fucking Car Bomb AND Cult Leader AND TDEP.

do it you wont regret it. unless they do a reunion (which isn't impossible but I dont see it happening on a mass scale) its your last chance to see TDEP, i would have killed to see Car Bomb the other night, I don't care for O Brother but they sounded great and Cult Leader was good fun as always. Of course TDEP blew everyone else out of the water as expected. just do it.

Yeah I almost definitely will. I don't like O'bro's new album, but both times I've seen them they've blown me away so it's still a worthy addition. But yeah, it seems totally worth the price tag. Excited for it.

i just bought a ticket as well for one of their shows! never seen em live but seen obro a shit load of times and theyre consistent, although the garden window era was the best. cant wait to see DEP tear it up!

Still think the title track could have opted for something heavier towards the end but god damn, I've had it playing in my head every day. imo it may not be the most fitting conclusion but it sure as hell might end up being my favorite track by this band.

If you guys like Fugue I really recommend you check out Hospitality by Venetian Snares https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zg1sgrw1PGM. Sounds really similar to something from that album

the title track is fucking beautiful. never thought id use that adjective to describe a DEP song though
|

they played a few new ones live that i didnt expect (dont want to ruin it for the potential show goers) and they sounded great/fit right in with the rest of the set.

Not quite a 5 for me (yet), but this is an epic of an album. Low Feels blvd. is one of the best songs of the year, no doubt.
