everyone seems to be loving this but i'm 8 songs deep and i think this might be their worst. feels like they relegated all the "fun" stuff to mess and are going for a more serious sound overall, and that's never where they've excelled tbh

nothing's put a big ass grin on my face like death of a strawberry (even though it's cheeky as hell) or anything on happiness (which is their best album).



i fear i'm reaching the point where mess's funny lyrics are not funny anymore. riding a rhino pico de gallo like cmon man that shit is lame as hell

mess has always been pretty lame as hell in my eyes, on here everything the amount of times he embarrasses himself is a lot less than on other records. maybe this style of music is just not for me, i dunno.

Mess was apsolutely abysmal early in DGD's career(he single handedly ruined the Death Star album for me), but he got much better after he rejoined DGD.
