I've always been pretty open about this being an emotional 5 for me, but the music is more supportive of a 3.5-4. The momentum really dies in the middle and I often skip ahead. Goes something like this for me:

Never really gave this a real chance after the initial spin. For me Yellowcard has always been OFTK, Ocean Avenue, Paper Walls, WYTTSY and Southern Air. Those are all all time favs but their other albums just don't have that same magic for me dunno why.

If only Sunny. They're touring for Ocean Avenue's 20th anniversary but I'll be super surprised if any new music comes from it.



That's one of my favorite YC songs ever, bellovddd. Something about his inflections in the verses just hits home. Then that climactic emotional ending, phew.

I have to say. Ocean Ave will always be my number 1 yellowcard album because the time it came out and how much it changed me. But this album I tell you what, its damn close to overtaking it.
