Haven't heard this yet, so I can't say. Seriously though, Radiohead's electronic stuff is evidently influenced by Bjork. Idk why you wouldn't like her too.

This thread did turn to shit...yes, but not because of me! How did Bjork become the dominant theme? You can see it died. Nice work Toad and JiggleDick. Great work.

Even if the alphabetti track listing is wrong I'm still guessing True Love Waits will be the final track - think we can all agree on that :D
Maybe they wanted Burn at 1 and TLW at 11 and went neato lets put the rest alphabetical
If they're charging £70 for special editions and that's the track list on those I'm guessing this will remain the final order

Also tracks 2 and 10 both have similar fade outs with those ambient noises lingering after the track fades - think keeping one at each end of the album is intentional framing.
Tinker definitely runs into True Love Waits so again that looks a fixed track order to me

@LordePots "the pacing is terrible and clunky and loses basically all momentum by clumping those last 4 tracks together"
Since when were albums with a quiet third act / latter half a bad thing? Feels and Remain in Light are very similar structurally to this album when you consider distribution of immediate songs with slow-burners, and you have both of those albums 5'd

He probably just wants to hate it because I 5'd it

It doesn't matter what you think of it, it's no Sunhouse.

The contrast between Burn the Witch and Daydreaming is actually growing on me.

Aw you're not pathetic! Well maybe you are but I hope not

True Love Waits is genuinely one of the best album closers of all fucking time. It makes me so emotional no matter what jfc

yea might be my favourite RH closer and that ain't no easy claim
sup freddie man
|

I was thinking the same thing and they are the masters of having gorgeous closers
nm really it's 3am here and i'm not even close to sleep so I'm gonna listen to Radiohead (trying to decide between this, In Rainbows, and I Might Be Wrong) and probably play God of War 1, sup

In Rainbows is always the right choice my brotha
good stuff though, I fucked my sleep schedule by getting up at 4AM to jam the new one when it came out (goddamn australian timezones) so I was up at 3 last night rocking out to All I Need in my pyjamas good times
|
| |
yeah honestly In Rainbows is probably my favorite album of theirs with the total understanding that that doesn't mean it's their best
It's just SO WARM. The warmest album ever. But actually might watch Civil War cuz I found an actually great version online so idk, decisions

It's my favourite of theirs and I also think it's their best tbh, you just can't top Nude->Weird Fishes->All I Need. absolutely stunning
Civil War is dece as long as you can ignore Tony Stark being literally the worst character of all time, but it's no daredevil ofc
|
| |
i'll always think Kid A is their best, that's one of those albums where I can remember every single detail of my first listen
He has grown much more insufferable lately, I'm with the majority that is more excited about Spidey and Black Panther, specifically Black Panther

Album Rating: 3.1
In Rainbows just slightly edges it for me because I hate Optimistic with a passion but yea both are essentially perfect
I'll spoil one of those now and say that new Spidey is almost insufferably annoying (probably still better than the last two though) but Black Panther is pretty fantastic
