wow flesh without blood is cringier than all of Jacob Royals soundoffs combined

most of its not even fucking weird, which is what made her even mildly enjoyable to begin with

this is one of those albums where its evident as fuck that the people who pretend they love it are jading the shit out of themselves just for the sake of being quirky

Oh no its not a particularly weird album. But it isn't a very well executed one and it's painfully obvious when she misses her mark on almost every song here

the first 5 seconds of kill v maim were good and then it turned into a j pop song except the kind of j pop song where its a super white girl doing it and its offensive kind of like kawaii by avril lavigne

also on the topic of whether or not grimes crosses the line between homage and offensive cultural appropriation that was discussed on one of this albums threads recently...

maybe she was fine before but this song makes it official. grimes can foad. this is utterly offensive.

had to skip the second half of kill v maim that was the worst song ive heard all year easily.

if this album keeps up like this i might have to review it solely so that i can .5/5 it because so far it doesnt even deserve a 1

theres bits and pieces in the production that I like, some tricks and sounds that if another artist expanded on I would enjoy... but Grimes just... doesn't know how to make any of it work. It just all sounds really sloppy? I dunno.
