Fucking hell the new single Shine is absolutely fantastic. That's the kind of song I was hoping to hear on this album. Experimental/electronic with a cool groove.

Hoping they haven't completely eliminated the rock elements on EOTS. But if a lot of the songs are experimental like Shine, then I won't mind.

I'm afraid that none of the new songs is a rock song.

Yeah that's one of my most jammed songs of last year actually, such tasty bass.

I don't get all the criticism with LFatTM. It's Riverside fully embracing their strenghts to focus on great songwriting with slight experimentations to keep progressing. #Addicted's shades of shoegaze are perfect, and Towards the Blue Horizon shows the band in complete control balancing prowess and restraint perfectly. Also, it might be Mariusz' best performance to date. His voice and vocal lines are so heartfelt and genuine.

It's like top 3 Riverside at least

@altertide0: uggh....I don't think it'll be my cup of tea then I like them with the vocals. Thanks for the heads up.

I love their instrumental passages a lot and have no problem with them going on for 3+ minutes in their longer songs but damn I am gonna miss the vocals I think

His vocals come up once in a while, they're not entirely absent.

That's exciting! I really they go back to their more grandiose and sprawling sound though. This was a tad too tamed for my liking. Still good obviously.

It sad though that the new album will not be the exact same band anymore. Wonder if what happened will factor into the sound at all.

The first two studio albums and and Voices in my Head are best Riverside.

Nah, ADHD is where it's at. All albums are great, of course (not Memories in my Head) but ADHD is just classic material.

It's good but too histrionic and cheesy for me to really get into it, especially now.
