Word to this. Especially In Michigan is easily one of my favourite songs that they've ever done. This is growing on me. Not to the extent that a lot of you seem to like it, but I'm digging it more now.

Yeah, Especially In Michigan is one of my favorites on here. The chorus fits so well with the rest of the song.

I recently read in an issue of Guitar World that one Mr. John Frusciante hears voices in his head and bears witness to spectral phenomena. Any thoughts?

I wouldn't say that. In the interview he seemed pretty sane. He might have a few skeletons in the closet though. I meant that as literally as possible.

after a week my highlights now include Tell Me Baby, Especially In Michigan, Wet Sand, and Slow Cheetah, while still keeping my other highlights

and i also slightly dislike We Believe, but not enough to say its bad or anything

as for the album as a whole, its great, better than By The Way in my opinion, but its no BSSM or Californication

After listening to both discs completely non-stop I've decided it is a solid 3.5.

I still don't know if I want to shellac out twenty bucks for an album that has no previews anywhere.

Yeah, if you are unsure so far, I'd wait for the new singles to come out (Snow, Tell Me Baby, Storm in a Teacup) so you can make your choice more easily. Dani California is a very poor representation and lead single of this album, in my opinion.

Its funny how people are still saying that its no "Californication" or "BSSM". Most iTunes reviews say this same crap.

and im happy "Tell me baby" is going to be a single

I don't see why snow must be a single?
wet sand is by far the best track on Jupiter, its so good they should have named the album after it!

oh and the other cool tracks are Especially in MI, Torture me and strip my mind, Charlie rocks out too!
This is by far the chilli peppers best work, i just hope the radio doesn't kill it by over playing the singles.
