I'll listen to the one I have right and proceed from there... pretty sure I'll be able to find it on my own, but still thanks!

A 1, Sach? Come on. You can be disappointed in it without calling it garbage with no redeeming qualities.

Ah, so you think this album killed your favorite genre? I guess I can see the 1 then, but I'd say that the attention that this got could revitalize the scene if anything.

don't think it will. This gets attention, but not for the PE elements.

this isn't even pe tho. death industrial sure but not really pe, much closer to the dark ambient side of death industrial.

it's def not the revival of PE but people probably thought new Kamasi was the "revival of jazz" but hey that's what happens when an album does really well in/around a scene most people wouldn't otherwise care about. tl;dr - I agree

yeah exactly, mostly dark ambient with industrial and noise aspects throughout.

i can see why someone wouldn't like it. accessibly served, with arguably not a whole lot of substance (altho idk if substance is what you'd be looking for in pe). it's pretty much post-rock compared to actual pe. but honestly, it serves as a really good intro to the whole industrial and noise genres, and i much prefer this being considered the go-to prototypical industrial than the likes of downward spiral.

this is def a good gateway album in that it offers bits and pieces of numerous styles. i love it regardless but i totally get why Sach hates it

I'm not saying that this is PE revival to clarify. I'm saying that the interest in this could spark an interest in other PE artists.
