yeah that lick in pace 'til death is what i'm talking about. and yeah i've listened to this album through plenty of times. a fine day to die is an amazing song but the rest seem fillerish to me, just will take some more listens for them to get in my heart

I actually really like that guitar noodle in Pace Till Death, it makes me laugh.

This is my problem with the album. It's the most generic and boring thrash songs ever made sandwiched between the greatest opener and closer of all time. Other than "For All Those Who Died" which fucking rules, I don't understand what people see in the middle thrash tracks at all. They aren't interesting, say for maybe the intro to "Pace Till Death" and heavy as fuck bridge riff in "DiesIrae" and they go by way too quickly to leave an impression.

I didn't realize we were talking about Reign in Blood, except RIB doesn't have the best intro and closer of all time, it's just that the opener and closer on RIB are the only passable tracks sandwiched between filler tracks.

and yah, if you feel that way about this album you should probably lower your score.
