This is so much better than Raven. Glad to see SW not falling into the trap of navel gazing revivalism.

Yep. I hope he takes the blueprint for this type of album and it's experimentation to the next step on his next record, and I hope he moves even farther away from romanticising vintage Prog sounds.

I'd say lyrically this is up there with his best work.

Yeah, definitely. I'd say 3 years older has climbed to be on par or even better than Routine as the last 2 minutes feel so special and nostalgic

Yeah they're joint best for me, with Happy Returns not far behind. The last few lines are heart-rending.

I know it's been said a million times before but when the female vocals kick in with "rouuuuutiiine keeeps meee in lineeeee" on Routine, it's one of the best moments on the album.

If only the female vocals were used more.

Ancestral is amazing.

Ninet Tayeb has such a rich and wonderful voice, it's such a shame she doesn't appear that often throughout the record. The poignant chorus in Ancestral was originally performed by her, and ten times better (although it's great on the record nonetheless), as we can hear in the promotional videos.

Ancestral live would be amazing, hoping most of the setlist will be from this album

Apparently they're playing some PT songs in the shows as well.
