So the best songs here are basically Gravity Lies, Impostor, Yours Again, Darkest Part and What You Keep Alive right?

The Ever is pretty good too I think.

Definitely wouldn't call it "Innocence & Instinct 2" but it's by far the closest they've come to achieving that since then.

As someone who's never really listened to Red before, this is pretty solid. Very cool atmosphere throughout.

Release the Panic wasn't bad. It was actually pretty decent.

However this is much better.

Yeah, June 3rd is when it's gonna be released, a bunch of new acoustic versions of songs off the album plus several new tracks.

didn't really care for the 10th anniversary album, it basically sounds the same as the original and the bonus tracks aren't really worth the time.

This album reminds me of a slightly heavier and not as good Dear Hunter

interesting comparison, probably the symphonic elements, though every Dear Hunter album is miles better than this, even Migrant.

this is dramatic alt metal with strings, the dear hunter is dramatic indie rock with strings. that's all i got

Cranked this on the way to work this morning. I guess I gotta listen to Dear Hunter more but I don't really think they're worth comparing to, this is a different kind of album.

I mostly have to agree with you, although Already Over's acoustic was really nice, and that seven minute instrumental is one of the best things in Red's discog.

it'll be interesting to see where they take Circles if they decide to use it again, but all in all I'd just rather listen to the original.
