I'd go to Download but there'd only be 3 of us going since everyone else would rather go to Leeds, not sure whether 3 would be enough.
You could go to a nightclub and get fucked to some edm, the difference is you'd be paying £20 and not £120+.

3 is more than enough man, at Download a lot of it is about the people you meet cause everyone is down to earth, the atmosphere in the campsite and the main arena is brilliant. I've been 7 times and never had a bad year.

@tuna My friends are all indie wankers and go to latitude to pretend they're high whilst listening to Alt-J or Temples.

Same here pretty much- the people who wear Leeds writsbands all year are the worst. I have this one friend who listens to nothing but Oasis and wears nothing but Pretty Green, he can't have a conversation without mentioning the 90s or Britpop.

Hey, the wristband culture is cool. I keep my freshers wristband on and someone I know said he kept his on until graduation.
But yeah, you can't escape those people. My flatmate claims to love Queen but I asked him to name more than 2 tracks by them. He couldn't.

"I keep my freshers wristband on and someone I know said he kept his on until graduation."
Funny, I did exactly the same thing. It was cool knowing it had been there for every single experience during those 3 years. My wrist felt bare for ages.

meh. I've lost count of the amount of times people have broken out into either Robbie Williams' Angels or Bohemian Rhapsody.

I have a Smiler wristband I like to wear every now and then, the comments about how insensitive I am are amusing.

(To get things clear because it's not obvious through the link I posted: This post I linked to was shared by the band (I suppose Rou).)
