I'm with JWT, BSN is grossly overrated. Violent Waves was rather listless, but I still like it more than BSN. Juturna and OLG are a toss-up for me as #1.

When I was reading up about this album release, it seemed the band was really proud of this work compared to their others. I cannot figure out why this one would be the album they'd be the proudest of. The album's back-loaded, for sure. But even then, the back end of the album is good at best, and disappointing at worst compared to their previous material.
Violent waves was fantastic front to back. This... no idea what they were trying to accomplish with this.

I feel like Sovereign Circles is really underrated here. Great track all around.
Album would easily be a 4.5 if it weren't for the closer, it has such great potential to be a huge dynamic tune but it fell a bit flat. Probably should have ended around the three minute mark tbh. Oh well, album is still fantastic. This band has got to be one of the more consistent ones out there.
