Love this album! I think if akerfeldt had released this as a solo or side project, everyone would be praising it.

I want Akerfeldt to release an acoustic solo project, that would be great

Great review and bravo! for feature. Little mistakes here and there:

''definitely take [the] home the awards for''

'' “Faith in Others” give[s] the listener ''

'' Unfortunately, those how [who] disliked Heritage ''

Don't know if they've been mentioned before, didn't read 14 pages of comments... I adore new Opeth but would like to see a heavier record from them next time, too.

Mikael's in love with this new sound, so I doubt that would happen but one can dream...

There's still quite a few bits that need editing in this review, Mongi.

for example:

While they band may not have completely missed it

but his harmonies get quite better as the song goes on.

^Not sure if that one's a typo but it's bad grammar.

However, the band’s desire to make the album feel dated will undeniably be a gamble for them and for those who loved Heritage may even love Pale Communion. Unfortunately, those who disliked Heritage will most likely expect the same reaction.

I'm not sure what it is you're trying to say with this. It doesn't really make any sense to me.

Not trying to be overly nit-picky but as this is the featured review it would be nice to think that this is the best out of all the PC reviews so far, which it could well be if it wasn't for the mistakes/occasional awkward wording.

As of now, Opeth are suck in the '70s

that's either a typo or a diss to the 70s

@emyay umm it's neither? It's just a statement.

@jamie what I mean is how if people didn't like heritage, they'll not like this from my point of view. I'll fix that stuff you pointed out later too. The beauty of not having an editor is how you often miss things even when you proofread a lot.

Right ok I think I get that, still reads very awkwardly to me though. To me it would make more sense if you said something like:

"However, the band’s desire to make the album feel dated will undeniably be a gamble for them but those who loved Heritage will quite likely love Pale Communion. Unfortunately, those who disliked Heritage will most likely have similar feelings towards this"

I'll fix that stuff you pointed out later too. The beauty of not having an editor is how you often miss things even when you proofread a lot.

To be fair other reviews I've read from you haven't been littered with typos or awkward wording at all (at least not that I've noticed) so don't take it as a negative towards you as a reviewer, I like your reviews a lot :]
