The opening notes of Worlds Apart felt wrong to me on the remaster. Didn't get very far.

Seeing them play this soon though.

My issue with this album was always production. Sounds slightly muffled, and even if you compare the original version with Sorrow And Extinction, you'll see that other record has lower volume and is less compressed, but sounds clearer.



I just finished listening to the remaster and I actually liked it. A bit more compressed for sure, but it sounds clearer to my ears when it comes to instruments and subtleties. Time for a discog jam

This be one of my favorite albums of all time. Probably said that more than once in this thread already. I enjoy the original and remaster. A few questionable decisions on the remaster but over all it’s a generally “better” sounding album imo.
