VERY true, id say that for most gorillaz stuff. I love the art by jamie hewlett, and some of the music is great, but ive never really LOVED an album of theirs. Demon Days and plastic beach are a huge step up tho cause this one has a ton of duds

idk I think every release after this loses some of that original Gorillaz magic, Demon Dayz perfected the formula by keeping this style and fleshing it out more even if it lost some quirkiness in the process. Plastic sill had glimmers of hope, everything else after that is a waste of time. wish Del wasn't so lazy too
