yeah this isn't stereotypical pop punk at all
it's mostly called pop punk because this band used to be a lot more pop punk and because there is still a lot of pop punk influence in this but it's more like indie/punk somethin

when this was first streaming i got argued with for calling it pop punk, now the opposite- another classic interaction with fellow users of sputnikmusic.com
in framing is pretty basic pp until the bridge part but i'm not really seein your deep rest as stereotypical besides possibly the chorus part but there's plenty of pp-dads to go around
