Why does this band have to exist? v_v
Haven't listened to much of this. I heard a couple tracks on Youtube, and I'm not going to venture further.

literally so few people care that you may as well not comment something like that

The idea behind this little trinket of seven songs was that [I]each member of Periphery gets the opportunity to become the main creative director[I] behind a song in order to, “explore all of the different writing styles in the band.”
Such an ironic statement hahahaha. This band has been nothing more than a perpetual downward spiral of everything I love about metal. I don't even mind some djent here and there (for shits and giggles) but come on, I hate when children rate this band so highly when they've never explored in the first place.
Solid review.

"This band has been nothing more than a perpetual downward spiral of everything I love about metal."
Such an inane statement. Care to specify exactly what about metal this band is a downward spiral of?
|
| |
The production OH BOY, the fucking production.
|
| |
Umm k, there's little of the 'Wannabe Meshuggah polyrhythms' on this album, but whatever.
But wanky leads? Pretentious lyricism? GTFO, do you even like Metal?
|
| |
Wtf does that even mean? Haha.
|
| |
Metal = wanky leads and pretentious lyricism. Do you hate Slayer and Dio and Iron Maiden too?
|
| |
He reviews DM albums cos he digs Madonna dude, you cracked it.
|
| |
It's elementary really.

'Metal = wanky leads and pretentious lyricism. Do you hate Slayer and Dio and Iron Maiden too?'
Someone screenshot this and send to the police, this guy is fucking nuts.

*Rides the tiger. Can't hear you over the sound of pretentiousness.*
