This isn't even close to metal though

Just gave it a first listen. All the songs seem to be similar. I checked what song I was up to and I was already halfway through the album, where as I thought I had only heard maybe 2 or 3 songs. There is nothing really distinctive about any of the songs. At the moment I find it boring, but it may grow on me.
