Album Rating: 3.3
ofc no
|
| |
i think everyones favourite is the money store and sometimes exmilitary
|
| |
I'm halfway thru this was just wondering
I like money store a lot more than the others
this has nothin that comes close to hacker or Get Got so far
|
| |
yea and it never does sadly, tbh money store seems like a fluke i dunno how they made such a good
album sandwiched between so much "eh"
I mean even non death grips fans like myself love that record

this is up there. its starting to really come together for me. i like it when DG doesnt hold back. some truly awesome and disorienting sounds on here.

This is prob my favorite album by these guys so far
Money Store hit hard in places, but each track grew tired at some point. This one's all over the place, so it's hard to feel that way this time around. Also, MC Ride's out of the spotlight for a hell of a lot of this
|
| |
Also Eric I have a feeling you'll love the last tune here
|
| |
some truly awesome and disorienting sounds on here.
this might sound dumb but I am really digging some of the psychedelic stuff here and just some of the totally unexpected tones and twists

the money store is not a fluke, i think its simply a one-off because death grips doesnt have a genuine interest in making that type of formulaic album again. the sounds of money store are still here, its just the song structure that doesnt exist anymore, which takes away from the albums immediacy/accessibility. its rather evident that they prefer the more droney, disjointed type of experimentation.

I can see this shaping up to be a much more complete, long-lasting record than the others
but then again, that's not what I've liked DG at all for in the past
IVE LIKED THEM FOR HARDHITTING FUCKING SINGLES THAT GO HARD FOR LIKE 3 MINUTES AND THAT I CAN QUOTE ON SPUTNIK THREADS IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES
though maybe what I listen to DG for will change with this record, who knows
I don't understand when people don't at least find their albums interesting though I mean c'mon
