Once Galder joined the band, the quality of the riffage fell hard. I still like this alot though.

I agree but it's weird cause I really dig Old Man's Child.

I've never listened to Old Man's Child... worth checking out?

Yep, get Vermin, In Defiance of Existence, and The Pagan Prosperity.

In Defiance of Existence was my favorite, even though Pagan Prosperity has that classic old synthy Dimmu vibe.

Also, this is such a fun album. It's one of the most overproduced, triggered, metal albums of all time.

I kinda grew out of them, but I still come back to Dimmu pretty frequently. They were one of the first extreme metal bands that I really got into so I still dig the fuck out of them.

Damn dude Stormblast and Enthrone Darkness Triumphant are two of the best albums from the Norwegian second wave bm scene and For All Tid is sweet too. Get on them asap.

I have so much stuff to check, I've been listening to 2 albums a day for awhile. I need more of Yearning's discography as well as Autumnblaze and Dornenreich.

Also, the new Dodheimsgard and Arcturus are fucking awesome. Can't stop jamming them.

I'm waiting for Dodheimsgard and Arcturus both to hit Spotify because I've been wanting to jam them.

I know the Arcturus needs to get on there, I hope you like it though. I understand you don't care for Vortex in Arcturus but I'm the opposite lol. (LOVE Garm but prefer Vortex just slightly)

Also the new DHG is on spotify, it's not really industrial anymore, it's pretty frantic and terrifying actually.

Only time I didn't dig him was in Sideshow Symphonies, but I love Vortex overall as a vocalist. I have high hopes for the new Arcturus.
