Yeah but come on man, they have done so much better

similar to BVB? BVB don't even have a singer

"Lol, it's not that bad"
It blows.

We weren't talking about the vocals though. And come on, I still consider myself a fan (that may change if the next album will be mediocre again) and I don't feel offended at all.
"Lol, it's not that bad"
But it's not that good.

This shouldn't have been the follow up to Nightmare

Definitely not, and they took three years for this. Okay, they lost The Rev (they all know each other since like the beginning of time, so I can understand that it's hard), but they should have took more time... they should have done it at least for him. I really don't know what they were thinking.

I agree. We all knew how much he meant to them and he was also an anchor in the songwriting process, but instead they rush it and made an album as quick as possible

"Stfu Idiot above me.
Btw. Shitty Album why the fuck is this band so popular?"
because city of evil kicks ass.
just because a band had a bad album does not mean they suck
Heritage is bad but opeth doesn't suck.

I never said A7X suck, in fact I love City, s/t and Nightmare, kinda. A lot more than most of the sputnik population. I think I may have just outgrown them a bit

Yeah Choccy I perfectly understand why people hate them, and I'm definitely not a fan, but I don't think they deserve so much hate
|
| |
Album Rating: 1.5
I think a lot of the hate is purely because they're so popular. They're credible and used to make some interesting stuff that still appealed to wide range of people

Hey, we've earned this territory and I don't see anyone else fighting for it. We'll probably take the BMTH threads too.

Album Rating: 1.5
I don't even think I've ever listened to more than one BMTH song, guys, so we're okay for now

I pretty much live there anyway and I'm still looking forward to what they do next. The same can't be said for A7X

I'm so done with BMTH and that kind of -core, I wiped a lot of that stuff of my iPod last week.

Talons washed away the core and accepted trve metal as his lord and savior.

I find that "core" stuff is so limited right now and there isn't anything great going on in the genre. I'd just rather listen to something else

I've gotten bored of this new "electronicore" bullshit. The only tolerable band is Enter Shikari. The rest are abysmal.

Does Kvelertak count as 'core' stuff? If so, I'm still well into them.
|

Album Rating: 1.5
Enter Shikari are the only band I can deal with in that genre too. I mean, I have them listed as one of my favourite bands as well, but they incorporate a wider range of electronic genres unlike most of those bands
