i see what you mean about this........perhaps 'compilation' was a bad choice of words for me to clutch on to.....'disjointed' seems a bit more fitting, but hell, the songs are great

It'd be nice to hear Radiohead rock out again like on here and their 90s albums, but these new songs do have me excited.

Idk I found this to be extremely engaging. Maybe aside from Pablo, which is the only one I haven't heard, the band can do no wrong.

This is their most inconsistent but has some of their most interesting material. Only a few of the interludes are completely pointless, everything else is excellent.

On my first listen through Radiohead's discography, this one was actually my favourite of the bunch. I'm not sure why. Now, I'd say it's about on par with Amnesiac.

yeah first 3 songs and last 3 songs are among their all time best, Go To Sleep and There There are good, the rest does nothing for me

Agreed that those are the best here, but Backdrifts and The Gloaming are cool and A Punchup at a Wedding is a nice song before the weirdness of the last three. This album also has some amazing lyrics, like Myxomatosis.

911 albums ftw!

*okay, that sounded offensive. Didn't mean it that way. I'm just talking the subject matter of the album.

album should be:
"Sit Down. Stand Up"
"The Gloaming"
"Myxomatosis"
"A Wolf at the Door"

I like most of the rest but these are the real keepers
