I'm pretty sure that's what they're saying.

na, that's frances...this has a couple moments that bring it down below pure awesomeness into the realm of 98% awesomeness

I don't know, I see very little dispute over the "pure awesomeness" of this album.

yeah, pretty much, except for the fact that they are debating the weak tracks.

my problem with frances is that it some times feels over-long, i like the atmosphere though.

Really good review. Reminds me of myself. Nah, I'm joking. Really good though. Love this album and band. They're like nothing else.

Oh man, words can't describe the nostalgia and awesome feelings that well up in my stomach every time i put this on. This album was what got me hooked to mars volta and it's still one of the most interesting, intricate, and thought provoking albums I've dealt with.

You know if yall are big fans of Mars Volta, you oughta check out some old school Santana records. Mars Volta are highly influenced by em.

I'm curious to know how Cedric developed such an awesome voice from ATD-I/Tremulant EP days to this album, cause his singing voice was not very good at all in ATD-I

ATD-I is more of a different style, it's not to say he couldn't sing before he just did so in a different way. Tremulant on the other hand shows that he originally had a lot less control on the falsetto. Concertina comes to mind. Still a great song imo, very awesome on the live EP.

Okay so I'm about 5 years late but I don't think any of the tracks are filler tracks.. Every song is a part of the story
