don't get me wrong, i can dig random sometimes, i mean between the buried and me is consistently one of my favorite groups, i just wasn't big on it on this.

"The band has always set its goals high each record"

Think there's a "with" missing after "high"

Hmm. I don't think a "with" is entirely necessary there, but it'd probably make the sentence flow better! Thanks for the catch, friend-- I'll polish it up in a bit.

Everything is awesome from these guys but I feel The Collective and CDC have the edge over this album.

I always honor CDC over Collective, except for when I'm actively listening to Collective, then it's like 'fuk ya, Collective'

it's just a bit unorganized for these guys.

I would use the word ambitious over unorganized, considering many of the tracks here tie together as one. it seems like StS wanted to accomplish that whole "this album is one cohesive piece" feel here, whereas The Collective worked in numbers. There were the singles, the eclectic songs and the subtle gems.

Here, those lines are blurred, and because of this it's harder to pinpoint what about the release works really well. Even though to me, I definitely know I love what they're doing here. It can just be a harder sell, because I think this style of music is often appreciated in pieces, like the most popular tracks off the Collective.
