Thanks Serpento. And no i'm not going to force the idea on to you i just wanted to know what other people think. Thanks for not going into a paragraph about this like everyone else and just answering me.

This is a great album... guitars are sweet, the vocals are amazingly clean, i love the drums, bass... is there maybe?, but for the most part i dig the music. though they may not be as amazing live as everyone hopes they would be... this album definitely shows how techinical the band can be.

Meanwhile Sam in not nearly as sloppy, does a vast majority of the songwriting and his solos aren't anywhere near as repetitive
Sam is a cunt though. Seriously. That's what ZP Theart told us at the concert. :o

Do they put on a good show? all the comments i heard about them at Ozzfest was that they were drunk and terrible... but i always think that an outdoor concert compared to an indoor one is completely different... so maybe that had an effect? either way, i'm hoping to go see them in April with Killswitch Engage and Chimaira. This Message Edited On 02.08.07

I enjoyed them. A few problems with the sound early on, but they put on quite a show. You haven't lived until you've heard Valley of the Damned live.

Lame name, lame band

Yeah, because a band's name has everything to do with the quality of their music.

I may not listen to metal, but I appreciate it. Those "crap" pop punk bands just suit my needs.

Though they're not crap.

Or they sloppily fellate Metallica or whatever media darling sub-par metal act is in vogue that year (read: Trivium).
Anyway, nothing wrong with Green Day, particularly their early stuff.
Although I am convinced that most of the guys who bash power metal and list stupid complaints are just trying to compensate for the fact that Manowar's album covers gave them a raging hard-on.

No offense, but could we try that again with more punctuation? I like DragonForce as much as the next guy, but it helps to get people interested in them if you demonstrate that you really do speak English.

Unnecessary insult, but to stay on topic, after many listens to this album it is still excellent and never gets boring. They are also much better live.

Through the fire and flames is similliar to Operation ground and pound
in fact both chorus start with "Far Away...."

They are repetitive
