"hold your head up high and blow your brains out."
I'm fucking serious. I'm talking about the Guitar style and especially the backing vocals in it.

It's not trying to be a masterpiece though. Yeah Dookie and AI are their best efforts but this is really fun. I mean at least this has some fun Guitar licks for once!

¡Tre! is leaked.

So far Tre sounds like a post-American Idiot album without the stray songs that would make the
album sound incohesive (I'm looking at you 21st CBD). It is simply pleasing to listen to. I wish it
were a bit more interesting here and there, but I think it is a good album.
The best thing I like is that it sounds like the most subtle of three albums, and still maintains
that "back to roots" mentality introduced by Uno and Dos, meaning it doesn't go too far into epic
territory.
Make sure to find a good quality release, as the links on YouTube are hit and miss and these songs
do need a decent bitrate to be fully appreciated.
And to demigod, please state why you keep lurking around these new GD albums. You have continuously
shown your disdain for GD, and all you have been doing is saying pretty much the same thing. We get
it; we get you don't like Green Day. I respect that, but please, understand that we understand you.
You are making yourself look like a hater with nothing else to do. Don't you have albums and bands
you like? You can post there, as it should make you happier.

I heard Tre one time, it's better than Uno and Dos.
Drama Queen is total shit, but there songs like X Kid, Missing You, Amanda or Dirty Rotten Bastard that are really great.
Recommended.

I'm going to listen a couple more times before making my judgement. I think the one thing that should
make the album more positively regarded is that it doesn't have "album killers" like Dos did for some
listeners. It does seem very coherent and still straightforward.
Amanda was really cool listening to. That riff that comes out of no where, it really fits in somehow.
Great song, and I think one of the best on the album.

Same here. It is simply more enjoyable, and Tre AND Mike have some really nice fills here and there.
Mike just gets plain dirty in one part of Dirty Rotten Bastards.

I'm gonna wait til I pick it up Friday but drama queen is a leftover from 21CB which is why it probably stands out...

Loved UNO, but Dos is pretty laughable. It is like a bad parody of Green Day.

Nightlife is easily the lamest song ever

Lol, I feel like Nightlife started like this:
Billie: Hey Mike give me a bass line
Mike: Check it. *Proceeds with decent, groovy bass line*
Billie: Sick dude. Now let's add some distorted vocals and rap.
Tre: What the hell
Billie: Exactly, what the hell, why not?
And so the legend begins.

I know right. I was starting to second guess myself, but what do you know, I relisten, and it is still decent.

Will definitely not be getting this, however I have to admit, "Stop When the Red Lights Flash" is pretty good.
