True, but they'd sound like a retard trying to make that argument considering Layne wrote the majority of the lyrics on that
record. Not to mention the fact that he was the face, and the soul, of aic.

I like new Alice in Chains, but I wish I could hear Duvall do more solo lead vocals. he has a good voice, and personally I think we didn't get a full picture on BGWTB (since Jerry pretty much takes all lead vocals there)

You are right about their contributions, I realized I was making a very general statement. I'm also a pretty big fan of what
Mike Bordin and Rob Trujillo did on the Degradation Trip albums, so chemistry is obviously not to much of a worry for ol'
JC.
