Bungy, would you happen to be a developer for Black Mesa? Your profile pic looks familiar.
Anyways, I agree there is a lot of ignorant hate being put towards this album. At least it is fun like
Green Day is known for. A reasonable score would be 3/5 in my opinion, but I naturally like Green Day's
sound so I'm at 3.5 and sticking to it. The lowest I could imagine ANYONE going is a 2. There is much
worse music out there that truly deserves 1/5.

Not with Black Mesa

Nothing on here rivals the really old Green Day like Kerplunk and earlier I would rather listen to "Road to Acceptance" 12 times in a row than this album

I didn't think it was absolutely horrible. I've heard much worse than this album. What I will say is that it was listenable. The biggest flaw that I find with this album is that it mostly just seems forgettable. I listened to it just a couple hours ago and I can barely recall any of it save for a few hooks. There is a lot of cursing though, I do remember that, lol. I'm not gonna rip a new hole in this album like everyone else is already doing. I just think it's average.

"“Billy Joe isn’t a hero for that childish display. He’s a spoiled, rich, rock star w/ a bruised ego who’s lost sight of how lucky he is. For a guy who’s made millions off of a guitar repetoire that doesn’t extend beyond power chords, you’d think he’d be a little more gracious.”

^I actually agree. Someone stated that outburst was "Billie Joe finally going full punk". Please! That was anything BUT punk. More like full spoiled. I would have killed to see Johnny Rotten handle that same situation. "Did you evah get the feelin' yew've been chea'ed?"

God, i just wish this was 1/10 as good as Born In The USA.

who cares if its punk or not, punks are pathetic anyway, green day just do what they want.

"Uno! is the first of three albums by Green Day in a post-Green Day world where you don’t have to
give a shit because neither do they."
This is true, and guess what, music made by a care-free Green Day is better than music made by a
Green Day trying to be the greatest band in the world, using every possible sound and style in a
single album.
Anyway, I'm finally getting over my hate towards the chorus of "Fell for You" and now I think the
song is decent overall. The album is still staying with me, not really growing off at all. Loss of
Control is such a great song to maintain engagement at the half-way point. This album puts me in a
good mood, and is easy to listen to.

Yes, many are having a tough time coping with this scenario.

Why this is happening: Downer's review + front page = many mindless drones stopping by and rating
1/5 because they feel superior. Downer rating 2.0 for 21st Century was a life saver in maintaining a
somewhat natural sin wave chart, but his defaulted 1/5 of Uno! completely destroyed any hopes for a
legitimate reflection of the thoughts of the people who actually took the time to listen to the
album thoroughly.
Even look at the reviews. The average of the review ratings (based on people that took the time to
listen) is over 3.0.
