this is hilariously excessive. how is it not at least somewhat enjoyable for that one reason alone?

you're right. I never disputed that fact. just said that popularity and hate tend to go hand in hand.

Didn't even take the time because I hate muse. When will they ever call it quits?

So Radiohead can incorporate electronic elements (i.e. Kid A, Amnesiac, and Hail To The Thief) AND still be critically acclaimed, but if Muse tries to do it, the band just dies? How does this make sense?

Also sorry for the Radiohead comparison, I know muse fans will be extremely angry if you compare Radiohead and Muse.

The problems is not the incorporation of electronic effect.

The main problems with this album is the incorporation of the brostep, the lame attempts of this band to sound like queen and some of the lyrics written by Bellamy which are lazy and lame as fuck.

The band doesn't really sound like Muse during Survival; they sound like a bad Queen tribute band.

Bellamy is no Leonard Cohen, that's for sure, in terms of lyrics. He can be good, but eh... yeah, I see where you can be coming from. I don't blame you.

I think I like all tracks besides the dubstep of Unsustainable. What I do like about it was them actually trying to do it with REAL instruments. Check out http://youtu.be/1dDJ2EN5Xhw?t=22m45s .

They need to go back to the drawing board, because they've been way off track the last two albums.

They need another themed (Well, concept, I guess.) album, like Absolution. I would love that.
