lol i remember when treb said 'we're not good people' was like a nickelback song in that it's simple radio rock or something.
Yeah, and here's the problem with Four. Compare that with something like 'The Price Of Gas' on Silent Alarm, or 'On' on Weekend. They couldn't be arsed this time around it seems, and thus so can't I.

lol no man, that's not the problem - the problem is that it's hilariously inaccurate. if he doesn't like it cool, w/e, but comparing the guitar work to nickelback? come on. ears
i'm in the minority on this one but i think there are some kind of boring songs on silent alarm. at any rate, formula is the same, they've just gotten poppier (although this album seems to have somewhat alienated some of their fans)

I meant they churn out simple radio rock now, obviously comparing them to Nickelback is horribly wrong. The slightly dark undertone is just gone as is the gorgeous interplay between the guitars of Lissack and Okereke. And stuff like Coliseum is horrendously overproduced and bombastic.
Ugh, I'm gonna stop. Still way too infuriated by this record.
