Will do then, I'll give Albatross a go once I finish listening to the new Yellowcard and some other stuff. And yeah Davey, on my top 5 list for the third quarter of 2012 this is an easy number 1.

Everyone has their opinions. We can just be happy that The Classic Crime's worst (but not bad) is still probably better than some other bands' best offering.

I've kept my mouth shut for long enough. Davey, the fact that you don't have the Graduate in the RIYL is a travesty.

skoopy: Vagabonds just feels more fun and genuine to me, the second half of this album (except What I'd Give Up) has a lot of songs I'd consider unnecessary.
at this point i should probably just review this album, shouldn't i?

Yeah Freak I'd actually like to see what you say about the album. I'd probably disagree but I want to see fully fleshed out arguments since I see where your points are coming from.
And Chipmunk DO IT

I just want to know why Freak likes Vagabonds so much, lol. You should review them BOTH.

"the fact that you don't have the Graduate in the RIYL is a travesty."
Initially Chippy, I would have called you crazy, as I don't really see them as similar bands ina general sense.... But I must admit there are a fair few similarities from a musical standpoint.
Tbh, I'm unsure Freak would be telling us anything we don't already know about this album. I agree with Ecnalzen that his thoughts on 'Vagabonds' (which I predominantly agree with btw) are more interesting. Are there some "unnecessary" tracks on the latter half of this LP? Probably. It all gets back to that debate about whether you prefer 12 B+ songs on an album, or 4 A+, 4 B+ & 4 B-.

cmonn davey, they have more in common with the classic crime than valencia

Disagree... Well, at least in terms of discography. If you consider every album by each band, Valencia & The Graduate are most similar imo. You definitely have a case here though, so let's call it a 1-1 draw.

well, I thought put valencia on the RIYL would be more of an album comparison than a discography one. hmm

They're apparently gonna be shooting a video for "The Precipice," should be good

I just saw that on Facebook a little bit ago. Precipice is a cool song.

Pretty much every track here could be a single. A video for 'The Precipice' could be interesting as there are many possibilities if they have the budget.

Haven't listened to the album in a little while, but if I remember right my favorites were Young Again and Heaven and Hell.

'Young Again' would be a highlight on most albums released this year... But not this one.
