this is pretty good. highly experimental for them...every TMV album is, but this one especially. i don't see the de-loused comparisons either; i think if anything, this sounds closest to octahedron. but it's better. also the album generally gets better as it goes along.

Frances The Mute is good but it's too much for me ( for example Cassandra Gemini which has 32 minutes), still I love L'Via L'Viaquez and Miranda, That Ghost Just Isn't Holy Anymore. The Widow is cool too. Same goes for De-Loused In The Comatorium... I love some of the tracks (Eriatarka, Roulette Dares, Cicatriz ESP) but in comparison with the others as a whole, I find them less enticing.
Recently I have listened a lot to Amputechture and I find it underrated.

Eh. I agree with whoever said this sounds like B sides. Some songs are fantastic, but even the fantastic ones don't seem to flow with the album too well. I'll give it a few more listens before I decide on a solid rating.
