can we just come together in peace and agree that Ghost of Karelia has both the highest highs of the album, and is the only track here where the best parts don't overstay their welcome. so many great shifts of tone in that song, catches the mercurial psych vibe better than anything

this album is unseemly aesthetically somehow but excellent. their best, for me. couple stray songs worth listening to after this album, but I'm with the consensus that they started kinda sucking. the hunter isn't so bad, but by the time that dead-weight double-LP drops im like euhhh
