Honestly the fact that this progs harder than Damnation has very little to do with why I prefer this. Song writing on Damnation really isn't that great imo (in some parts I'd even say it's pretty bad but that's just me).

For me the musicianship on here is far more interesting than on Damnation.

musicianship is better here for sure, but damnation has so many hooks, every chorus is memorable as fuck..some of this record just feels pretty standard at times



oh and the production on damnation is quite a bit better
